THE LETTER

I just had to find something normal where I could do some physical labor and meet people.  I was not ready to quit my crossing job so quickly as it did offer some interesting possibilities. As I was a Master Gardner, I decided to buy all the necessary tools and advertise as a Gardner and Landscape designer.  I put the artical in the Glendale News Press.  I also wrote a letter to Bob.  Dear Bob:  I will not be seeing you for awhile, so I want to give you some things to think about.  There are two centers in our beings from which we operate; the emotions and the intellect.  Emotions are the colors in life and intellect produces the forms and shapes to which we add a little color and a little color is then added to us.  Emotions are the seasonings on a T-Bone steak.  You want to taste the steak enhanced by salt and pepper; You dont want to taste salt and pepper enhanced by steak.  You need to recognize the difference and act on what is right rather than upon what feels good.  If you are serious about seeing Jeanette again, that is fine and quite normal. You need to understand rejection and what it really is.  Some people do not like meat at all; in a sense, they reject it.  However, there are those whose favorite meal is meat and potatoes.  Nothing wrong with the meat, its a matter of personal preference.  If Jeanette does not want to see you again, it may be you need to season your steak and see how she likes it then.  So, if you would like to give Jeanette some steak like she has never had....wash your hair, get it cut short, throw your thuggy clothes away, hold your head up, and believe in yourself. I will see you soon and what you look like will be your answer and my answer...I love you, Bob....Bob Key.  (to be continued)
