WEENIE ROAST PART FOUR
After Bob related the name "Jeanette", I spoke not a word as I gave him opportunity to carry on. He was silent for about a minute and then said: "I wonder if she would remember me.+" I replied: "I am sure she does, she probably misses you and wonders where you went."!!! "She is in seventh grade now, same as me." said Bob. "Seventh grade girls are really cute*" I said. ******* "YES, she had cute freckles, but not all over"....^^^^.****....Bob, then changed the subject, big time. "Mr. Key, didn't you say your ship could fly through solid material?" "Yes, I did and it can." Bob said: "I want us to use your ship to fly into the Great Pyramid in Egypt. It is rich with Spiritual beings. I have studied it and some facts were given to me. In fact, I began to get interested in Mathemtics after I learned this.....the length of each side at the base is exactly 365.242 cubits, a unit of measure then. This number is the EXACT number of days in a Solar year including the extra day every four years. The slope of the sides are such that they meet at the apex which is 232.52 cubits above ground level. The decimal part of the height was needed so that when twice the length of a side be divided by the height, we get 3.14159." I had forgotten that I had indeed read that in a strange book I came upon when I was twelve. It was called "Larkens Dispensational Truth" It was scary with all sorts of frightening drawings and told of the end of the World. The perimeter of the Pyramid is 14009.68 cubits. This number is equal to the circumferance of a circle whose diameter is twice the height of the pyramid. The angle of the slope of the sides is as 10 to nine. That is for every ten feet in distance you travel up a side, you rise nine feet in altitude. If you multiply the altitude of the apex by ten to the ninth power, you get 91,840,000, which, in miles is the distance from the Earth to the Sun. All of this was fascinating to remember. As quickly as Bob had changed the subject, he changed it back again. "If you see Jeanette, tell her hello for me. I have a school picture of her in fifth grade which I will give to you. She lives a 747 Glenwood, so see if you can see her enter her house if you can't recognize her. Smart kid was I.....I now had my orders. (to be continued)
